im rather tempted to create a new dA on a whim
i wont delete this one, ill probably link it or something. too many memories on here.

I haven't been really on here as of late, that's mostly my fault. I haven't really had a reason to show up on here, and like, I've been SOOOOOO lazy in posting shit. And my scanner was fucked up the wazoo for a while now, just had it fixed. So, I've decided to do a to-do list for apps of groups.

And anyhow, how've you been, people of the dA nation? It's surely been a while, you cool cats.
So here's what I've been up to:
I've been going on tumblr a bit more now, mostly to just check up on some of my friends' blogs and stuff. And I've been playing a lot more games recently, especially TF2 and Borderlands 2. In Borderlands 2, I'm a bit.... not quite dissappointed, I can't quite describe it. It just doesn't feel the same as the first. I don't quite enjoy it as much for some reason. I mean, don't get me wrong, I love the game to bits, but it's just.... ehh, different.
I've also been boxing more frequently. My arms feel like I tried to punch a cinderblock. They hurt SO BAD.
And, I've been working on an idea for a comic. I'm working on the setting concept, and basically it's a retelling of an alternate Earth in which, during the 21st century, magic was reintroduced into the world by a doomsday cult that was, to say, dissapointed that doomsday didn't happen. The story focuses on the period of prosperity that follows, and the danger as well. The old gods, making their prescence known, have sprung up a surge of magic that has brought back the monsters of old. I'm trying to blend genres here, with elements of horror (via HP Lovecraft inspired things), noir fiction (the protagonist as an amateur detective) and various other genres. One idea that I had was that each region has their own type of witch- the Americas with more modern witches, like the ones in the Sorcerer's Apprentice and Supernatural and crap, with Europe more like the classical witches from Macbeth and Snow White, and Japan's being.... Magical girls. Yes, magical girls. Not Sailor Moon style though. They're more like vigilantes, and are more adept at technology, and more vigilante-like to an extent. One of the characters in my story has prosthetic legs that harness the power of an air elemental, and she can teleport and run at alarming speeds. That's all I have to say on the matter.
